Acceptance of Terms

TL;DR — By using Zagg, you agree to these terms.

By accessing or using Zagg ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. Simple as that.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Service, including the waitlist.

What Zagg Is

TL;DR — A reverse job marketplace. Companies apply to developers.

Zagg is a platform that flips the traditional hiring model. Instead of developers applying to companies, companies apply to developers. We provide the platform — we don't employ, represent, or guarantee outcomes for either party.

Zagg is currently in pre-launch. The waitlist allows you to register your interest and be notified when the platform goes live.

Your Account

TL;DR — Keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for your account.

When you sign up for the waitlist or create a Zagg account, you're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

  • Provide accurate, complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

TL;DR — Don't be a bad actor. Use Zagg in good faith.

We built Zagg for developers and companies acting in good faith. That's the only rule that matters.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend access for violations of these terms.

Intellectual Property

TL;DR — Our stuff is ours. Your stuff is yours.

The Zagg name, logo, website design, and all associated content are owned by Zagg and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Any content you submit to Zagg (profile information, preferences, etc.) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a licence to use it to provide and improve the Service.

Disclaimers

TL;DR — We provide the platform as-is. No guarantees on outcomes.

Zagg is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to:

  • That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • That using Zagg will result in employment offers or successful hires
  • The accuracy or reliability of any information on the platform

We're building something we believe in, but we can't promise specific outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

TL;DR — Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us (which is currently zero).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zagg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

TL;DR — Either of us can walk away. Your data rights survive.

You may stop using Zagg at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law provisions.

Your data rights under our Privacy Policy remain in effect regardless of termination.

Changes to These Terms

TL;DR — We'll notify you of material changes before they take effect.

We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect.

Continued use of Zagg after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
